I am sitting in my office, watching the rain through the window. The small droplets of water left trails as they rolled down the window glass. A smile lightens up on my face. It is now 4pm, quite dark around. Looking at the rain, leads me to think of Vietnam. God gave me a chance to catch the summer rain in Vietnam recently. Rain in Vietnam is beautiful, especially when it rains in the countryside.
Rain reminds me of a scripture in Isaiah.
"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater..." -- Isaiah 55:10.
The earth cannot give fruits or to maintain anything that has life, except when it receives rain. Rain brings refreshing to our souls in the times we feel like we are dry. Without the rain, all things on earth that has life cannot live or bear fruits. Just like us, we cannot live without water. Water gives us life.
“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.” John 7:37
May the Spirit of God rain down on you like rain and gives you a fresh.
